A woman is to stand trial following an incident in which an elderly couple were terrorised and robbed in their Co Donegal home.
Krystyna Gasperowicz (34) will stand trial at the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court which begins on January 26th next.
She is charged with two counts of assault, criminal damage and burglary at Ballinascadden, Coolboy, Letterkenny, on June 14, 2020.
Gasperowicz, of Ard Glas, Long Lane, Letterkenny, faces two further charges of producing an article, namely a cup and a radio, during the course of a dispute and two incidents of criminal damage at another property at Coolboy.
Detective Garda Darren Carter told Letterkenny District Court that he served a book of evidence on Polish national Gasperowicz.
Sergeant Jim Collins confirmed to Letterkenny District Court that the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) has directed trial by indictment on a total of eight charges.
