Hospital update: Twenty-six Covid-19 patients at LUH

THERE are 26 Covid-19 patients at Letterkenny University Hospital, according to the latest data from the HSE.

The figures, measured at 8pm on Saturday evening, show a slight reduction.

There were also three suspected Covid-19 cases at LUH.

Numbers at LUH have stabilised recently, although the facility has the second highest number of Covid-19 patients, behind Beaumont, where there are 38.

Figures show that there are 34 general beds available with all critical care beds occupied.
