ANOTHER 12 Covid-19 related deaths were recorded in Northern Ireland today.
Ten of the deaths announced today occurred within the last 24 hours and the region’s death toll is now 1,154.
A further 656 new cases were diagnosed, bringing to 60.287 the number of infections in the North since the outbreak.
The numbers come as Minster for Health, Robin Swann, has proposed a six-week lockdown after Christmas.
Widespread closures have been proposed and the Executive is now meeting to consider the proposals.
