Hospital update: Twenty-eight patients with Covid-19 at LUH

THERE has been a rise in the number of patients receiving treatment for Covid-19 at Letterkenny University Hospital.

As of 8pm on Tuesday, there were 28 Covid-19 cases among patients at LUH, while there were six suspected Covid-19 cases in the hospital.

That figure is the same as the corresponding on Monday, when there were six more than 22 at 8pm Sunday evening.

Latest data from the HSE show there are no critical care and three general beds available at LUH.

There is one patient in ICU at LUH receiving care for Covid-19.
