The Christmas Spirit LK campaign is back for 2020 with a heartwarming video and fundraiser launching this Tuesday evening at 6pm.
‘Christmas is Love’ will be the fourth installment from Christmas Spirit LK initiative, which has raised almost €12,000 for local charities and Letterkenny University Hospital in recent years.
This year’s campaign will have a special focus on spreading joy and love after a difficult year for many. An uplifting video, featuring local actors Ethan Barron and Maria Howard, will be premiered on the Christmas Spirit LK Facebook page at 6pm.
Project founder Pete Rose gives a preview of what viewers can look forward to: “Christmas Spirit LK was founded on the belief that we could be better and we could do better, but especially at Christmas. It’s been a rough year for a lot of people this year. So we hope that our efforts this year will bring a smile to your face, help spread a little joy and love and as always, keep you in the Christmas Spirit.”
A GoFundMe campaign (Click HERE to visit) is being shared alongside the video to raise money for local groups, voluntary organisations and charities in the county and community.
