DONEGAL hurling captain Sean McVeigh says his team-mates won’t be starstruck by the imposing surroundings of Croke Park on Sunday.
Donegal are in headquarters for the Nicky Rackard Cup final as Micky McCann’s men face Mayo. Donegal are bidding to win the prize, but have a fancied Mayo to contend with in the decider.
“Everyone is putting in a massive shift and there’s good spirit in the camp,” McVeigh told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“Everyone is pushing in the one direction. We have real depth in the squad and we’re in a good place going into the weekend.
“It’s going to be the biggest challenge we’ll face this year. They’ve blown teams out of the water. Our challenge is to live with them for longer. We’ll give it absolutely everything to get a result. We’ve found a way all season.”
