DECLAN Bonner insists that Donegal must be on top of their game if they’re to land a third successive Ulster title on Sunday.
Donegal face Cavan in Sunday’s final at the Athletic Grounds and are odds-on favourites.
However, Donegal boss Bonner says his side have to guard against any bad habits.
“We can’t take anything for granted in Ulster,” Bonner told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We have to lift our game for the Ulster final. If we get the right performance levels right, we’ll be in with a big chance.
“We have to be switched on for the 75 minutes.”
Cavan came back from the brink against Monaghan in the preliminary round and on Sunday against Down.
Mickey Graham’s side have shown a never-say-die streak that has served as a real warning.
Bonner said: “Cavan were dead and buried against Monaghan, but really rallied. Again at the weekend, no-one would’ve given them a prayer at half-time. They showed their resilience and they’re never beaten.”
