JOE Boyle says the strength in depth of the Donegal hurlers was really on show in yesterday’s win over Tyrone.
Donegal defeated the Red Hands 3-25 to 1-21 at O’Donnell Park to book a place in the final against Mayo.
Gerard Gilmore’s pair of second-half goals were key as Donegal got over the line.
“If Gerry gets inside his man at all, he’ll bury it,” Boyle told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“Tyrone were growing in confidence, but Gerry bagged the two goals and the boys worked so hard.
“Tyrone were dangerous and we knew that.
“We have strength in depth now. The boys coming in off the bench are every bit as good. They’re all putting their hands up for places.”
