TEN further Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in Northern Ireland.
The death toll in the region is now at 740 with all ten deaths occurring within the last 24 hours, the health service has confirmed.
There were another 679 new cases of the coronavirus confirmed in Northern Ireland today.
Since the outbreak, there have been 40,858 cases in Northern Ireland.
There are 418 patients in Northern Ireland hospitals with Covid-19, with 50 of those in intensive care.
