Watch: Donegal ladies fall to heartbreaking defeat by Dublin

DONEGAL ladies suffered an agonising defeat by Dublin in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship in Cavan this evening.

A freak goal by Sinead Aherne would prove crucial as Dublin, the All-Ireland champions, scored a 2-13 to 2-10 win.

Goals either side of half-time by Nicole Gordon and Geraldine McLaughlin had Donegal well in the hunt after Nicole Healy netted early for the Dubs.

Captain McLaughlin scored 1-5 for Donegal, but Aherne’s bizarre goal had the Donegal head spinning.
