GARDAÍ last night apprehended a drug-driver in Letterkenny.
The driver turned away from a Covid checkpoint and Gardaí pursued the vehicle.
When stopped, the driver failed a roadside oral fluid test and discovered to be driving under the influence of cannabis and cocaine.
The driver was arrested and will now face court proceedings.
