NINE further Covid-19 related deaths have bee recorded in Northern Ireland today.
The latest figures from the Department of Health show that eight of the nine deaths occurred in the last 24 hours.
The North’s death toll has risen to 697.
There were another 566 infections of the coronavirus confirmed today in Northern Ireland, where there have been 37,782 cases since the outbreak.
There are currently 354 patients in Northern Ireland hospitals receiving treatment for Covid-19, with 53 of those in intensive care settings.
