THERE are now 16 patients at Letterkenny University Hospital receiving treatment for Covid-19.
The latest hospital figures from the HSE show an increase of two Covid-19 patients at LUH as of 8pm on Sunday.
Two of those patients were classified as ‘critical care’ and are in intensive care.
There were also seven suspect Covid-19 cases on site at LUH, one of whom is also in intensive care.
The HSE figures show that there are three critical care and 24 general beds available at LUH.
