THERE have been five further Covid-19 related deaths recorded in Northern Ireland.
Figures released by the Department of Health today show five additional deaths in the last 24 hours and a further 1,012 infections.
The region’s death toll is now 615 and there have been a total of 27,220 positive cases.
There are 228 patients in Northern Ireland hospitals with Covid-19, 30 of whom are in intensive care settings.
Of the latest five deaths, two were in Lisburn with one each in Causeway, Derry and Ards.
