A RECORD number of 319 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Northern Ireland today.
The Department of Health has been notified of one new death and the North’s death toll is now 578.
The latest 319 cases being to 10,542 the number of positive cases in Northern Ireland since the outbreak.
It is the largest daily increase in the region to date.
At the moment, there are 46 patients with Covid-19 in Northern Ireland’s hospitals, five of whom are in intensive care units.
