THERE were 189 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Northern Ireland today.
Today’s figures bring to 9,950 the number of infections in the North since the outbreak.
There were no further deaths recorded.
The region’s death toll remains at 577.
In Northern Ireland hospitals, there are 41 patients being treated for Covid-19, with five of those in intensive care.
