THE competition last weekend at Buncrana Golf Club was the Sean McLaughlin Memorial Open Stableford.
There was a tremendous turnout for this competition which is sponsored by the Excelsior Bar Buncrana.
Martin McGrath took first place with 44 points on a break of a tie from Eoin McNamee. Martin shot an average front 9 with 19 points but turned on the style over the back 9 to shoot a very impressive 25 points to amass his winning total of 44 points.
The gross went to the big hitting Luke Bradley (1) who is playing some magnificent golf at present as he shot a very impressive 3 under gross for a 63 gross.
