GARDAÍ have renewed appeals for information regarding a fatal road traffic collision in Donegal last week.
Jamie Bonner, a 19-year-old from Dungloe, was killed in the accident last Tuesday night, September 1, at approximately 9.30pm.
Mr Bonner was a passenger in the car which struck another vehicle on the N56 near Creeslough around 9.30pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car and a second male, both in their 20s, suffered serious injuries, a Garda spokesperson said.
The driver of the second car, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Gardaí and the emergency services rushed to the scene of the collision and a new appeal has been issued.
“We are appealing for witnesses and for all road users who may have dash cam footage from along the route around the time,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“We are also asking anyone who may have seen these cars to come forward with any information.”
