Covid-19: One further death, 61 new cases in Northern Ireland

ONE more patient diagnosed with Covid-19 has died in Northern Ireland.

The Department of Health confirmed today that there were 61 new positive cases.

The one additional death takes to 564 the death toll in the region.

There have now been 7,503 positive cases in Northern Ireland.

There have been 439 new infections detected in the last seven days and there are 17 patients in Northern Ireland hospitals with Covid-19, three of whom are in intensive care settings.
