A family are celebrating after their ten year old labrador dog was found after going missing for a number of days.
The black labrador, named Benchis, went missing on Saturday night last from a garden in the Clochan Mor area of Windyhall in Letterkenny.
Hs owner put out an appeal through Donegal Daily which sparked a widespread search for the much-loved pet.
NOw the family has revealed that the dog has been found in the Meedareagh Park in Lisnenan, Letterkenny.
A family member said “We wouldn’t have found him without all the help we got. It’s very much appreciated. We have no words to thank everyone for the calls and messages.”
