LETTERKENNY jockey Dylan Browne-McMonagle recorded his second win in as many days with a victory in Sligo this afternoon.
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s triumph aboard Joseph O’Brien’s 14/1 Tonkinese at Leopardstown, the teenager was in the winners’ enclosure today.
Riding the 9/4 favourite, Earls, for Edward Lynam, in the Clayton Hotel Handicap, Browne-McMonagle soared away to win by over a lent from Misterio (11/4).
It was Browne-McMonagle’s seventh win of 2020.
He said: “He jumped a bit better than I would have planned.
“He broke well today, he lobbed away lovely in front with his ears pricked the whole way. He was loving it and when I asked him for a squeeze he picked up well and ran to the line.”
