A MAN for whom three live bench warrants were in existence for failed to appear again in court.
James Hegarty (41) of Lios na Greine, Burnfoot was arrested by Gardai following an incident at Ballyliffin on July 21, 2020.
Gardaí discovered that three live warrants were to be served on Hegarty, who did not appear for hearing at Buncrana District Court today.
Hegarty was arrested at 11.20pm on the night in question and charged at 2.10am.
Hegarty is charged with using threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour and of being intoxicated in a public place.
A warrant was executed on Hegarty and three live warrants were in existence.
Judge Paul Kelly issued a bench warrant for Hegarty’s arrest following his non-appearance.
