Job Vacancy: The Alcohol Forum’s Donegal Reach Project is now recruiting.
The Alcohol Forum is a national charity that believes in an Ireland where every child, family and community is free from the harmful effects of alcohol.
We are inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of: Outreach Youth Worker Donegal Reach Project
(6 month contract with the possibility of extension – 28 hours per week (maternity leave cover.)
Salary Range €29,000 – €34,000 pro rata.
About the Project:
Alcohol Forum’s Donegal Reach Project is an individually tailored personal development programme for young people aged between 14 and 16 who are impacted by a parents/guardians or siblings alcohol or other drug use. The Youth Worker will also support young people experiencing difficulties with their own alcohol or other drug use. They will be responsible for the co-ordination, development and delivery of the project and identifying young people who would benefit from the programme through our existing family programmes and with our partner agencies.
Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates in Youth Work, Community Work, Education, Social Work, or Psychology.
