No further Covid-19 deaths, 19 new cases in Northern Ireland

THERE have been no further Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland today.

The region’s death toll remains at 556.

There have been another 19 infections confirmed in Northern Ireland.

Since the outbreak, there have been 5,834.

There have been 28 deaths from Coronavirus in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area since March.

There have been a further 8 positive cases from Covid-19 within the council’s boundary, up from four reported on Thursday.

The figure for Derry is the highest for any of the 11 councils across the North of Ireland in the past 24 hours.
