Garda warning as four arrested for drink or drug-driving locally

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of drink or drug-driving by Gardai in Milford this weekend.

Gardai confirmed that so far four drivers have been detained by officers at Milford Garda Station on suspicion of being under the influence of an intoxicant.

A Garda spokesperson pleaded with people not to get behind the wheel if under the influence of drink or drugs.

“Please always make responsible decisions before betting behind the wheel of a car.

“Do not drive while under the influence of drink or drugs,” said the spokesperson.

Those arrested in recent hours are expected to appear before the local courts.
