DONEGAL’S Covid-19 total has risen by one today, with the county showing its first new case in weeks.
The latest figures from the Department of Health show that there have now been a total of 465 cases in the county since the outbreak.
That is an increase of one in the county and is just the second increase in Donegal over the last 40 days.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that one person with Covid-19 has died, bringing the country’s death toll to 1,736.
As of midnight Monday 29 June, the HPSC has been notified of 11 confirmed cases of Covid-19. There have now been a total of 25,473 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.
The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
