IT FELT like 2003 all over again as the flags were raised to mark the reopening of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny at 8am this morning.
As Ireland entered phase three of the government’s reopening of the country, hotels were among the businesses to welcome customers back again.
At the Radisson there was a pointer to 2003, when the hotel first opened.
Three staff members who have been employed in the hotel since day one performed the ceremony.
Housekeeping supervisor Emma Quinn from Manor, Burtonport native Don Breslin, a kitchen porter, and the executive head chef Collette Langan from Dunfanaghy raised the flags to signal the Radisson has once again reopened.
The Byrne family along with the Management and Staff of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny are very grateful for the tremendous support that the hotel has received from customers, guests and local community throughout their closure period, and would like to take this opportunity to thank all their customers for their loyalty.
