DONEGAL’S Covid-19 total remains at 464 after another day without any new cases.
In the last 36 days, there has been just one new case added to the county’s total.
The 464 figure represents the total number of cases diagnosed in Donegal since the outbreak began in March and the figure is valid to midnight on 24th June.
It does not represent the number of people currently ill with the virus.
The Department of Health today confirmed three more Covid-19 related deaths and eleven new cases.
Since the outbreak, there have been 1,730 deaths and 25,414 cases.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan, said: “We are witnessing new outbreaks across various countries as they ease restrictions and this reminds us of two things – the importance of adherence to public health guidelines as we ease restrictions here in Ireland and the importance of continuing to avoid all non-essential travel.”
