THE departing sixth class pupils of St Columba’s NS, Ballylast, Castlefin held a physically distant graduation ceremony recently.

The nine children, who will be embarking onto secondary school life in September, were each given  with a special presentation.

Each was presented with a Class of 2020 hoodie and a personalised photo book which included messages from all the staff and pupils in the school.

St Columba’s NS Principal, Jacinta Walsh, said she felt it important for the children to receive a proper send-off.

Demi, Jaime, Jodie, Rebecca, Caoimhe, Teagan, Aimee, Keigan and Luke were delighted to be given the opportunity to see each other one last time before going their separate ways to secondary schools in Stranorlar and Raphoe.
