THERE remains no rise in the total number of Covid-19 cases in Donegal since the outbreak.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre says there has been a total of 464 positive cases in Donegal.

The number has fallen several times in recent weeks through a process of validating date and reviewing addresses, which means cases may be either denotified or reassigned to another county.

There have been no new deaths reported to the HPSC today.

The latest figures released by health officials shows that Ireland’s death toll from the coronavirus remains at 1,715/

There have been another six positive cases of Covid-19 meaning that, since the outbreak, there have been 25,379 infections.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
