GARDAÍ are investigating a hijacking incident in St Johnston, where a female motorist was forced to drive three males across the border.

The incident happened at Foyleview, St Johnston, just after 3pm on Wednesday, June 10.

A two-car collision occurred between a black Lexus and a silver Lexus.

The three males fled the silver Lexus and made their way on foot to another car, a Volkswagen Passat.

A lone female was in the Passat and the three males forced her to take them across the border.

Descriptions were provided for two of the three men: One had red hair and a short beard while another was wearing a beanie hat and a grey tracksuit.

Anyone who has any information about the incident is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074-9167100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111.
