DONEGAL’S total number of positive Covid-19 cases has been reduced by another one today.
A process of validating data and reviewing addresses has meant that a case from Donegal has either been reassigned or denotified.
The figure now stands at 469 positive cases of the virus, which have been confirmed in the county since the outbreak began.
The last time figures increased in Donegal was on Tuesday 19th May and reported by the HPSC on Thursday 21st May. All county case totals are announced with a two-day delay.
Today’s statistics were measured on Wednesday at midnight.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 3 people with Covid-19 have died.
The latest three deaths bring to 1,705 the total number of Covid-19 fatalities.
Health officials have been notified of another 13 cases of the coronavirus, bringing to 25,250 the number of infections since the outbreak.
