Covid-19: One more death, 16 new cases in Northern Ireland

NORTHERN Ireland’s death toll from Covid-19 has risen by one.

One additional Cofid-19 related death was confirmed today by the Department of Health.

There have now been 539 deaths in the region from the coronavirus,

A further 16 new cases have been confirmed.

Since the outbreak, there have been 4,838 positive diagnosis of the infection.

Presently, there are currently 343 Covid-19 patients in Northern Ireland’s hospitals, with eight in intensive care units.
