Roadworks which will last almost three months are to begin in the Lifford area next week.
The resurfacing works will take place on the N14 Tullyrap-Rossgier road from Monday next, 8 June.
A council spokesperson said it is anticipated that the works will take 10 weeks to complete.
Traffic flow will be maintained and pedestrians will be diverted around the works.
The works will be broken into small sections to minimise disruption, the spokesperson added.
