No new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Donegal

DONEGAL has had another day with no new cases of Covid-19.

Donegal’s total number of confirmed cases still remains at 477.

Taking data fluctuations into account, there has been no increase in Covid-19 cases in Donegal since 17th May.

Statistics released this evening by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) were measured at midnight on Thursday.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that another nine people with Covid-19 have died, bringing Ireland’s death toll to 1,651.

Validation of data at the HPSC has resulted in the denotification of three deaths. 

As of midnight Friday 29 May the HPSC has been notified of 59 further confirmed cases of Covidi-19. There has now been a total of 24,929 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Ireland.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
