The Loreto Letterkenny Leaving Certificate class of 2019-2020 may not have had the last day they were expecting, but they enjoyed a different kind of graduation through a poignant video created by staff and students.
‘Embrace the change’ was just one of the motivational messages in the emotional video which was packed with good memories from the year gone by.
The sixth years’ time at Loreto was cut short by the Covid-19 closure, but the girls’ lasting impact on the school community will always be remembered.
Minister for Education Joe McHugh was among the many people who left messages in the 25 minute video. Plus, Head Girl Laura Kealy and Deputy Head Girl Molly Kennedy took viewers on a nostalgic tour through the school.
‘Let’s always be proud to be a member of Loreto’s brown army,’ they said.
The video was a great success and will be a special memento for this year’s students to look back on in years to come.
