The Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit say they have detected a number of motorists speeding today.
It comes on the eve of the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Although traffic volume is down because of Covid travel restrictions, Gardai say motorists are still speeding.
One driver caught speeding today was clocked doing 144kph.
A spokesman has appealed to drivers to slow down and stay safe.
