The popular Warehouse Bar + Kitchen in Letterkenny is taking a virtual approach to raising money for the local charity ChefAid Letterkenny.
This Friday 15th May, from 6.30pm until 11pm, the bar is hosting an online benefit concert.
The entire event will be streamed live on Facebook and features performances from a host of national and local musicians. Mundy, Little Hours, Johnny Brady, Jake Carter, Callum Kearney, High Heeled Converse, Mark S Black, Cheryl-Ann and the Davy K Project.
Funds raised will help Chef Aid to provide almost 300 cooked meals a day to the elderly and vulnerable throughout the Letterkenny area during the Covid Pandemic at a cost off over €700 a day.
“Chef Aid Letterkenny are offering an invaluable service to the most vulnerable in our community and we want to help raise some much needed funds and raise awareness for their work,” explains Warehouse Bar + Kitchen Manager Michael Skelly.
“We have a massive line up of well known national and local artists. The event will be a lot of fun and I would encourage the local community to show their support and tune in on Friday and make a donation”.
A PayPal account has been set up for the event and donations can be made via PayPal.me/warehousebk
