THE ashes of a popular Polish man who died last week will be driven through his beloved Donegal Town this evening.
Sebastian Kulawiak was just 36 years old when he died on May 6th.
Most recently, Sebastian had worked in Lidl in Donegal Town for the last two years.
Previously, he had worked in Lough Eske Castle hotel for several years.
As a mark of respect to Sebastian, Lidl will close from 4pm today and also from 9.30-11.30am tomorrow.
A much-loved character locally, Sebastian was married to Lucyna and he has many family in Donegal Town.
A Polish flag is flying solemnly at The Diamond and this evening, Sebastian’s ashes will be taken through Donegal, starting around 5pm from Lidl and will ultimately be taken back to Poland.
A GoFundMe page has raised over €14,000 to help funeral costs and to aid his heartbroken family.
