Covid-19: Three new cases of coronavirus in Donegal

THERE has been an increase of three new Covid-19 cases in Donegal today.

It is the first rise in the number of cases in the county in four days.

There have now been 472 positive cases of Covid-19 in Donegal since the outbreak.

These statistics were measured as of midnight on Saturday.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 15 people with Covid-19 have died, bringing the Republic of Ireland’s death toll to 1,467.

A further 139 new cases – including the three in Donegal – bring to a total of 23,135 the number of confirmed cases.

There have been 2,998 patients hospitalised, while 383 have been admitted to intensive care units.
