Covid-19: 27 further deaths and 156 new cases confirmed

THERE have been a further 27 deaths relating to Covid-19 confirmed by the Department of Health this evening.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, 1,429 people have now died after contracting the virus.

Health officials have confirmed 156 new cases with the country’s tally now 22,541.

Today’s number of new cases is higher than the 137 announced yesterday.
