Four kayakers have been rescued off the coast of West Donegal.
The four were out paddling between Inishfree and Owey Islands when they got into difficulty last night.
An SOS was sent out by members of the Malin Radio Coastguard station and was responded to the Bunbeg Coastguard.
All kayakers were reached a short time later and were escorted to safety.
It is not understood that any of the kayakers needed medical attention.
A spokesperson for Bunbeg Coastguard said “Our volunteers continue to serve their community and are available day and night. In the event of a beach, cliff or coast emergency dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast Guard.”
