A ChefAid group has been set up in Bundoran and is ensuring many people don’t go hungry during the Covid crisis.
The venture is similar to other ChefAids which has been set up in other parts of the county.
The volunteers behind this venture also rely solely on the generosity of local businesses and individuals.
The group has been up and running for a number of days and is already supplying the elderly and isolated with at least one hot meal each day.
The meals are all prepared fresh by a team of chefs located at Stakes Restaurant in Bundoran.
Sponsors of the meals are displayed on top of each individually prepared dinner box which means people know who have helped to prepare it for them.
A spokesperson for ChefAid Bundoran said “We have been overwhelmed by peoples’ generosity and offers of help and want to thank everyone for all donations so far. But please keep
helping us to help others for as long as they need us.”
