Donegal Daily is celebrating a month of poetry with the #WeAreThePoetsDonegal series, in association with Poetry Ireland.
Throughout April, we will share daily poetry by established writers from across the county.
This series invites you to take a moment to read, enjoy or share poetry in the lead up to Poetry Day Ireland on Thursday 30 April 2020.
Today’s featured poet is Winifred McNulty
About the poet:
Winifred McNulty has won iYeats, Westport and Boyle poetry competitions and the Annie Deeney Annaghmakerrig bursary, her poems have been runners up in Red Line Poetry, North West words competitions and shortlisted in Myslexia, Listowel and O’Donoghue competitions.
Winifred has had poems published in Cyphers, the North, Myslexia, the SHOp, Stony Thursday book, Force 10, Yeats 150, Red Lines, Revival, Boyne Berries and read on RTE Sunday Miscellany.
