GARDAÍ are investigating after a gorse fire broke out in Letterkenny this afternoon.
Two units from Letterkenny Fire Brigade attended the scene in the Glencar area of the town.

Fire fighters battled to bring the flames under control.
The fire raged in gorse near to busy residential areas at Fernhill and Solomon’s.
Gardaí are probing the cause of the blaze.
