A VOLUNTEER group making scrubs for front lines worker in south Donegal has issued an urgent appeal for more material.
The group has supplied frontline staff at several south Donegal facilities as well as staff at other units in Sligo and Leitrim.
Volunteer machinists have been busy working to keep the frontline workers kitted out in the coloured scrubs.
However, the group – which has also produced protective masks – has now exhausted stocks of polycotton and are reaching out to retailers who may have bales of material in stock which we can use.
Ideally, they are seeking 50:50 polycotton in navy, blues or light blues but are also using patterned and 70:30 polycotton.
Do you have any stock or would you know anyone else in your network who can help? Please email: anne.feehily@gmail.com
