There is deep sadness in the Twin Towns and surrounding areas following the passing of Stranorlar woman Angela (Angie) Doherty (née Mc Menamin).
Ms Doherty, a much-loved mother of four, passed away on Monday following a long battle with cancer.
A dear friend to many, Angie and her family received incredible support from their community during difficult times last year. Over €13,000 was raised through local fundraisers to support Angie as she underwent treatment.
Angie passed away peacefully at her home, in the loving care of her family.
Her husband Liam, and children Shannen, Brian, Jason and Kelsey are being comforted by family at this time.
