Testing for Covid-19 at O’Donnel Park in Letterkenny will not take place again this weekend because of a lack of kits.
Chairman of St Eunans GAA Club John Haran said the HSE has confirmed that a lack of the testing kits means there will be no testing on Saturday and Sunday.
He also revealed that testing at the O’Donnell Park may only take place for two hours between 2-4pm on Monday, again because of a shortage of kits.
Club members had signed up to a rota in a bid to help run the five testing bays at the centre.
Mr Haran thanked all members for contacting the club and for signing up to help with the running of the test centre.
The centre also closed on Monday last due to a lack of kits.
It is understood that more than 100 people are awaiting a test in Donegal.
