A LUCKY Letterkenny punter won €5,000 in last night’s EuroMillions draw – could it be you?!
The winning ticket was bought at the Costcutter store at the Cill An Óir Complex in Killyclug.
In the middle of the Covid-19 lockdown, the cool prize – won in the EuroMillions Raffle Ticket draw – will certainly brighten the day.
“It’s great news for someone in the current times,” Patrick and Shaun McGinley of the Cill An Óir Complex told Donegal Daily.
“We are delighted that one of our loyal customers has won a big prize and we wish the lucky winner every happiness in the future.
“If you bought you ticket in our store, please check it out!”
Times have been challenging for the business community since the escalation in the Government measure to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.
However, the McGinley brothers said: “We would like to thank everyone for shopping local and supporting the local businesses. Now, more than ever, the local businesses rely on the support of the local people – and the local people also rely on the local businesses more than ever.
“It has been a challenging time with stocks and resources stretched to the limit. Our wonderful staff here have worked so hard during what have been scary times.
“We are open as normal and have fresh deliveries every day so there is no need to panic buy.”
And confirmation earlier today from the National Lottery of the EuroMillions winner has certainly lifted the spirits!
Check your tickets – you could be the lucky winner!
