A Letterkenny hostel has opened its doors to healthcare workers who are assisting in the battle against coronavirus Covid-19.
Apple Hostel is closed to the public for the duration of the emergency as they offer lodgings to healthcare staff.
With the majority of hotels in Letterkenny closed, some staff have found difficulty reserving rooms in the town.
Since last week, Apple Hostel has provided rooms free of charge to healthcare workers who are doing shift work, night duty etc.

The online booking system is closed during the crisis.
